Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel is conveniently located to explore downtown San Diego, Little Italy, and the seafront. It offers a perfect base for a pleasant stay in beautiful San Diego. While the rooms are older but shielded from outside noise, they come with free WiFi and have all the necessary appointments. The service is consistently friendly and professional, making me eager to return. Dining options were healthy, starting the day off right with a good selection of items, though choices for guests with allergies are limited.
The hotel offers comfortable and quiet rooms, though a bit on the small side. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there were some issues with room preparation. The location is great for exploring downtown San Diego, although it can become edgy in the evening if you are alone. The dining options were nice, but additional costs like parking affected the overall experience.
The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the waterfront and park. While the initial room view was disappointing, the staff was accommodating and moved us to a room with a lovely waterfront view. The rooms lacked some amenities like a microwave and adequate storage space for clothes, but overall provided a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was superb, especially as I had a wedding to attend at waterfront park opposite the hotel. The rooms, however, were extremely noisy due to the loud train bells outside and thin windows, which woke me up several times during the night. The service was excellent overall, with the staff being courteous and helpful. The dining options were convenient but not exceptional. It was a bit crowded at times, but the hotel felt safe at night.
The hotel was quiet and equipped with all the necessary modern amenities, but it had a bit of a dated feel. The service was very helpful and accommodating, although there was a small issue with lack of information about the elevators. The location was great for accessing various San Diego attractions, but being near the train tracks could be a drawback. The dining experience was convenient for busy days, but the use of disposable cutlery was a downside.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic with some impressive highlights and a few drawbacks. The rooms were wonderful with a view overlooking the main railway, although the noise could be bothersome at night. The service was excellent overall, but there was a hiccup finding my reservation despite booking in advance. The location was convenient for exploring San Diego, although there were mixed experiences with the dining options. Overall, a stay with great value for money in a well-situated hotel.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was comfy and quiet, with all the amenities we needed to make our stay enjoyable. However, there were some improvements needed in the shower area. The location was excellent for exploring the city, with easy access to scenic paths and parks. The dining experience was good, especially when considering the prices in nearby restaurants.
The hotel is conveniently located near Little Italy with easy access to the waterfront attractions. The rooms are extremely noisy due to thin walls, but the service is exceptional. Dining offers a variety of fresh and tasty food choices. The noise level from the nearby fire station and rail system can be disruptive, but overall, the location is great for exploring the area.
The hotel had very clean and nice rooms with a nice view over the seating area in front of the pool, but they faced extremely loud and constant train bells due to very thin windows. The service was quick and helpful, and the staff really took care of us during our stay. The location was excellent, very convenient to many attractions in downtown San Diego. The dining options were good and definitely saved us some money, even though there were a few limitations. The facilities were well-maintained and provided a comfortable stay overall.
